Mt. Moriah Cemetery, SD

This was a stop on Jeff’s bucket list. 😜 We went to Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Deadwood, SD. For those of you that are fans of the Deadwood TV Show, this is a must-see! We went to the gravesite of Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock and other notable Wild West characters. Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane are buried next to each other per the request of Calamity Jane. It was recorded that her dying wish was to be buried next to him.

The cemetery is massive and on a mountain top. It is quite a hike up to the gravesites and there are gorgeous views from every direction. Definitely worth a trip. 👍🏻
