We hope this post finds you well. 😊 We are currently staying at an RV Park in Hagerman, ID. Yesterday, we did a day trip to Twin Falls, ID. We went to a place on Jeff’s bucket list, Evel Knievel’s Jump Over The Snake River Canyon site. The canyon and river are absolutely breathtaking! Then there is the massive dirt and concrete ramp made by Evel Knievel for launching his Steam Power Rocket Cycle off of in 1974. The ramp is still there. Jeff remembers watching it in tv in awe. Pretty cool! 😬
Yup, with 6 or so channels on the "tube" there wasn't much chioce. Every Saturday afternoon Wide World of Sports. Often Evel was jumping lines of cars, buses and 18 wheelers. That was the build up to the snake river canyon jump. Then there was Howard Cosell calling all those Ali boxing matches. Good times.
